If AK was in a movie, what kind of movie would you like to see her in?

This is a very interesting poll! Kudos to you, piecesofyou, for thinking of it. Also, welcome to the board!
I had to go with romantic comedy. I'm a girl, so I immediately went for 'romantic.' I thought romantic drama would be quite interesting, but I feel comedy would be more Alison's style. Personally though, I would love to see her in all of the above (times two)!

Haha, this is so random! I chose "musical" mostly because I think Alison would be too shy to do anything else. But not, like, Enchanted or Rent. I'm thinking more like Once. Probably nobody here has seen that Once. But I think Alison would like it. It's not about characters randomly breaking into song; it's about actual musicians collaborating and singing to each other and stuff. So yeah, I think Alison would be awesome in something like that.

Personally though, I would love to see her in all of the above (times two)! Including an Erotic Thiller?

HAHA! I think I may have missed that last option. I am probably going to go with a 'no' on that one.. though one could always be curious. Uh huh, I said it. lol

I think it would be cool if she starred in a historical epic about how bluegrass actually came about. Think about it, she would be telling basically what sings about. Like the song about the little boys who got lost and passed away. That's a piece of history in some ones family. That song could be a movie in it's self. dubz

Well, since nobody is voting sci fi, I will! How about a guest role in "Firefly"? ( since we are in fantasyland I am imagining that show wasn't canceled! LOL )

I can picture Alison in a Romantic Comedy, Historical Epic, Fairytale, Romantic Drama and a musical. But absolutely not in one of the other generes. She's just not like that.... But I miss my favorite genre... A Westerrn movie? I would love to see Alison ride a horse with a cowboyhat on .

I agree with akusgal: I see Alison as more of a comedy actress than a dramatic one.
OMG. Alison as Kissin' Kate Barlow! (Please somebody get that reference.)
Or, since she likes Stephen King, she could be a random victim in a horror movie. (Though if she were in a horror movie, I would have to make myself watch it, and I would probably die of fright.)
But come on, guys, we have to think of roles for the Union Station guys too! (Except maybe Dan. He got his piece of movie stardom already as George Clooney's butt double. ;D )

Just looked at the poll, and there is one for everything.. including Erotic Thriller (not me)! haha Holes! Hmm, how could we include the guys? Maybe we could go off of your idea, silverqueen, and have them all in a Stephen King movie. It could be a follow up sort of thing to what Stephen has already done. They could all be stuck in a creepy house together, with Alison being the one followed around most (or Barry). My only concern is that it would take a long time to make due to their tendencies to giggle. lol

Yes! And it turns out they're the victims of a cult of fanatically traditional bluegrass fans whose rituals involve burning drum sets. ;D I can see it. And kudos for getting the Holes reference! Kate Barlow is one of my favorite characters ever. You get an Internet cookie!

...Is it wrong to hope that Alison is the one victim who survives to kill the ax murderer in the end? ;D
