Thank you for rationally stating the point I was going to make.

Repetitive as it might get, again I have to say..Eyesoflove, extremely well and succinctly put!
Though if I may add, the fact that some movie producer or other people may share your taste doesn't make it any healthier!

Piecesofyou's comment made me sad, because I can't stand the thought of anything bad happening to Alison whatsoever. But then, I've never understood the appeal of the horror genre at all - I can't imagine why anyone would want to be scared, or even to think about such things, but whatever. Everybody's entitled to his or her fantasies, as long as they know the difference between fantasy and reality.
I was most surprised that so many people voted for romantic comedy, because I can't imagine Alison kissing someone onscreen. Just doesn't seem like something she would ever agree to. But I can see her in a comedy, maybe. Or, like I said before, a musical.
(If there are any Wicked fans here: Alison as Glinda in the Wicked movie, yes? ;D )

Lol, maybe she could just stick at hugging? Truth be told I thought this whole poll was weird to begin with as I can't see her as an actress at all, but like you say..each to his own fantasy! ;D

YES! I'm here! Gosh almighty, yes! (The show is coming to my area in just a few months, which makes me extremely enthusiastic about life. Fantastic point about Alison kissing. Why did that never occur to me? I think I may actually find that weird. Just watching her cooking blew my mind. Maybe the camera would be aimed at the wall, but one still knows what's happening? I think it would still be odd for some reason. Does anyone else, or am I flying solo on this one? Tal, I think I will go with you and suggest hugging!

LOL! That was a reference to her hugging Dennis Crouch at the end of the Nashville "one woman man" video on youtube! It being already on film and not being "weird" looking at all! ;D

I forgot about that! CUTE! Oh I loved it. I officially prefer her hugging. (Great performance too!)

I think people are finding it weird to imagine an on-screen kiss because we all know AK to be such a private person and kissing is, for most people, an intimate act (though, there are plenty who make it a public affair *gag*).

Eyesoflove, I agree, that's exactly why it's weird to imagine. But her hugging Dennis Crouch was the most adorable thing ever. I have not seen the cooking video. I really must get a copy of that. It's literally been on my "to do" list for ages. XD Akusgal: You are officially my new best internet friend. Wicked's coming to my area too, but I've already seen it live once so I chose to save money for the next time Alison comes around. ;D But if they do make that Wicked movie that everybody keeps talking about, I vote Alison for Glinda. Just because that would be the coolest thing that's ever happened to me. And she totally looks young enough to play a college student.

AJG, she did that cooking show with that lady on GAC and made broccoli casserole. That's one. And then she did that dinner and a movie thing on CMT a few months back. I think it was that Drew Barrymore movie "Riding In Cars With Boys" that was played. I don't know, though. I've never gotten to see either one, nor have I ever gotten to see the AHMOM special from GAC because I didn't get that channel until like a month too late . I did see a performance of "Jacob's Dream" from that show, though, that Julie Lee has on her My Space right now.

I saw her eating with the lady on CMT, but im not aware of the GAC one..I'll have to look for that one. I'm sorry you didnt get to see that one....but they have re-aired it several times, so if i find they are re-airing it again, I'll be sure to let you know!

Thanks! Oh, and I did think of how she talked about boiling noodles in her chamber pot, but there's no footage of that that I'm aware of lololololololololololololol.
BTW, there was dispute as to whether both of those cooking shows aired on CMT or whether one happened on GAC. I think it was Lorraine Cook or something along those lines that used to have a show where she made meals from celebrities' own recipes and Alison made broccoli casserole with Velveeta cheese (just how my mom makes it, but I don't like broccoli casserole *blech*).

The movie was actually "Boys on the side"! And if you ever get the change see it! It's a good one! ( as opposed to the "riding in cars with boys" one I understand. ;D )

Correction. Saw "Riding in cars with boys" and it's not too bad but not nearly as good as "boys on the side" though! Both really so called "chick flic's " though.
