I totally agree with you Allie! It didnt really seem like she was feeling the song!! Maybe she was sick cause her voice sounded a little deep. But I absolutely LOVE Alison Krauss and i believe she did an extravagant job!!! <3

Well I didn't necessarily mean that she wasn't feeling the song, just that it seemed to be harder to sing than what she's used to. I'm sure if she sings it more, she can nail it and make it look like the usual effortless perfection we're used to Though I must admit, it's nice being reminded that Alison's only human. I'm not used to seeing her be a little bit off (which, "off" for her is still "amazing" if it were any other artist, just 'cause she's that good lol) just because she's usually pretty much perfect.

The AKUS appearance on PBS's Tavis Smiley show popped up on my TIVO schedule for December 24 and again on December 26. PBS scheduling can be very idiosyncratic so you might want to check your local station's calendar.
Smiley's format generally involves a 30 minute interview (possibly no music?). It might be an interesting departure from their usual television appearances.

Smiley's format generally involves a 30 minute interview (possibly no music?). It might be an interesting departure from their usual television appearances. He had Linda Ronstadt and Ann Savoy on in 2006 promoting their album. As I recall there were no songs or clips, just an interview. I agree that just an AKUS interview would be interesting indeed! *There are full episodes of Tavis Smiley at pbs: video.pbs.org/program/tavis-smiley/Doesn't look like every episode shows up there though...

AKUS popped up on my DVR schedule on The Talk, Thursday, December 22 mid-day. I would check your local schedule.
The blurb noticed a "performance" while the PBS Smiley website has a photograph of AK seated and noted that there would be an "interview". As much as I would enjoy a second performance of My Love Follows You, an interview...well as Jerry Douglas remarked "Get her (AK) talking these days and she'll go out on a limb and saw it off." ;D
Happy Holidays

On The Talk: AKUS gave a polished performance of My Love Follows You which was preceded by an interview of Alison alone. It was a truly charming piece.
So, if you haven't already: watch The Talk or grab the interview/performance on The Talk website.

"Not in that way." Favorite. Person. Ever. I love that she went there when no one else did, lol. And the Grammy in the dirty laundry. Oh, Alison.
I love how awkward she is - it's adorable. Her wringing her hands, not really knowing how to respond to them. She just doesn't seem very comfortable in interviews, I wish she'd be herself a little bit more.
She looked stunning too! ♥ And it looks like she's got My Love Follows You down pretty well, it didn't sound like she was struggling a bit like she did on Leno.
