Just about everybody in Nashville records religious songs and professes Christianity. I doubt that's the reason why she gets mistreated by the industry. Maybe she's more moral about the way she conducts her business than those other "Christian" artists, though. I can see that. And the artistic thing I can definitely see. Whatever the Nashville political game consists of, I wouldn't be surprised if Alison refuses to play it.
It's a good thing that she doesn't really need the Nashville bigwigs to approve of her, I suppose.

I hate to bring this up again but my online DVR schedule has AKUS on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown at various times on Feb. 10, 11, and 12. Hope not to be accused of falsely raising expectations. ;D

Yep looks like she'll actually be on it this time ;D She's listed on their website as an upcoming guest for Feb. 10th and the episode guide also lists AKUS for the Top 20 Countdown for the following dates/times: February 10, 2012 9:00 PM ET February 11, 2012 1:00 AM ET February 11, 2012 11:00 AM ET February 11, 2012 6:00 PM ET February 12, 2012 12:00 PM ET

Some of it is already up on YouTube. Alison looks gorgeous! Not that she doesn't usually, but she just looks really beautiful here. And I swear her hair is darker than it was in NYC - I don't know if it because it looks lighter in-person or what, but her hair is confusing me. I'm excited about the video and the way she kinda wanted it to tie into Paper Airplane (though I'm not even going to get into how her interpretation of this song makes me feel and wonder...) ;D

Still no new video!!! I just checked GAC's video airtimes, Alison is not listed at all, not even older videos. So she gets ignored again, even after guesting on the Top 20 Countdown!! I am spitting nails this morning. Nothing about it on YouTube nor on Alison's site, so I am wondering if a new video for MLFYWYG was actually made, or is actually going to be released? My insiders know nothing about it, of course that doesn't mean anything........

It definitely was made, Barry's tweeted about it numerous times (and once posted a picture on his website from the video shoot). I'm just convinced it's gonna come out next year or something. I figured with the way they talked about it on GAC, they'd premiere it or something.

Not everyone is aware that there is an official music video for Dimming Of The Day, never released on the networks but it is there on Alison's official YouTube page. It's a great video, very tender. Maybe the new MLFYWYG video will be like that.

I hope not. They never released Dimming of the Day; if they have any hope of the single doing well, they'd better get the video out there.

dahliacorona also uploaded a few videos from a fan Q&A...and my question was one of the luck ones that got picked! ;D Not gonna lie, I kinda just freaked out a bit. So cool! Kinda wish they wouldn't use full names, but oh well.
