I just hope we get to hear/see her performance. I can't remember about the past episodes - has it been aired or wound up on YouTube?

At Borders I bought the DVD for MusiCares' 2006 tribute to James Taylor and Alison and Jerry performed "Carolina in My Mind". I bought it originally for Keith Urban's performance. lol
I plan to buy this Paul McCartney DVD too, just for AKUS.

I think I was confusing that with Roots thing she did for James Taylor at Carnegie Hall.

Well then I hope this isn't right MusiCares is typically not televised or recorded, but is reviewed in detail each year by UT San Diego (our coverage of the Paul McCartney tribute will run Feb. 11 at: utsandiego.com/news/night-and-day/music-nightlife/)source: www.utsandiego.com/news/2012/feb/01/mccartney-be-honored-all-star-tribute/hopefully someone will get a phonecam video at least...

That sucks I looked into going since I'm in the LA area, and I guess it's a sponsored event type thing, and the cheapest price to get in is $1500. That's a bit out of my budget, lol. And I think it's invitation only and you need to be on some list, anyway. I really hope we do get to see this though. I hope this means she'll be attending the Grammys a couple days later in LA as well. I'm trying to get tickets to the red carpet to that, so cross your fingers for me you guys! ;D (Though with my luck, I'll somehow be able to attend and of course Alison won't attend, or if she does, she'll skip the red carpet lol)

I think that the MusicCares concerts are sometimes recorded and DVDs issued; James Taylor, Neil Young,....and sometimes not.
That said, I noticed that Jerry Douglas is performing in the UK with the Transatlantic Sessions Tour on February 9. Perhaps he is immune to jet lag, but I truly hope he will be performing with AK or AKUS on February 10 in L.A.

I've seen more than one place report that Alison Krauss & Union Station ft. Jerry Douglas, so I think he should be performing with them.

Singer Alison Krauss poses at the 2012 MusiCares Person of the Year tribute honoring Paul McCartney in Los Angeles, February 10 Some highlights: Diana Krall and James Taylor — he sang “Yesterday” while she played piano, then they switched and she did “For No One” while he played guitar. Rock legend Duane Eddy played an instrumental guitar version of “And I Love Her” that was like poetry. Tony Bennett remade “Here, There and Everywhere.” I loved Allison Krauss’s group doing “No More Lonely Nights.” Neil Young and Crazy Horse just ripped through “I Saw Her Standing There.”

Only 23 seconds...grrrrr!!! American Idol judge Randy Jackson was particularly impressed by the performances of Neil Young and Crazy Horse ("I Saw Her Standing There") and Alison Krauss and Union Station ("No More Lonely Nights"). Red carpet attendees were asked their favorite McCartney songs in this video...very brief clip of Alison at 1:39 naming one of her favorites www.cambio.com/2012/02/11/grammy-musicares-gala-honoring-paul-mccartney/
