THANKS PHILLY!! I SAVED THE PHOTO AS "GrammyNumber27.bmp" TWENTY-SEVEN GRAMMIES!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, here's a trivia test, I've tried to find out but had no luck. Who are the top Grammy winners of all time, to date, both genders, starting with the top Grammy winner (some Italian guy I think?) down to, like, number 10 on the list? ?

I am so happy for Alison (and the guys) I can't even sit down!!! BUT WHY DOES THE GRAMMYS DO THIS SO OFTEN TO AKUS, GIVE THEM THEIR AWARDS BEFORE THE TELECAST SO THAT THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS DON'T GET TO SEE THEM??? INSTEAD THEY PUT THIS FLOCK OF DRIBBLING IDIOTS IN THEIR MORONIC OUTFITS UP THERE ON THE SCREEN, OVER AND OVER AND OVER, WITH THEIR BLUE HAIR AND THEIR STUPID NAMES, YET AMERICA DOESN'T GET TO SEE THE BEST SINGER OF ALL. YOU'D THINK THEY'D FEATURE HER SEEING AS HOW SHE IS THE TOP FEMALE WINNER OF THEIR AWARDS IN ALL HISTORY, BUT NOOOOOOOOO, INSTEAD WE GET TO SEE KATY PERRY AND NICKI MINAJ AND LISTEN TO THEIR STUPID COMMENTS. ALISON WOULD HAVE MADE A VERY ENTERTAINING INTERVIEW FOR RYAN SEACREST, BUT NOOOOOOOO.......
I DON'T NEED AN ELECTRIC NAIL GUN TONIGHT, I AM SPITTING THEM THROUGH MY TEETH!!!!
Anyway, I am SOOOO HAAAAAPPY that they won, whatever the coverage!!!! No one deserved it more. Correction, no one deserved it anywhere near as much!!!!
(Stepping down off my soapbox.....)

There's a list here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy_Award_records#Most_Grammys_wonLooks like Alison passed Quincy Jones for the #2 spot ...it says she has 28. Does she get credit for that best engineered grammy??? Oh well, sooner or later she'll be #1! I can imagine her blushing when she starts getting intro'd as having the most grammys ever, lol.

Yeah, I loved her comment (on Top 20 yesterday), when the interviewer asked her about her being the top female winner, she said "right now!!" Yeah, like anybody is going to surpass her.

Pretty sure she only has 27, not 28. Mike Shipley won Best Engineered FOR Paper Airplane, AKUS or Alison don't get any part of that.

Wikipedia would never get their facts wrong,......would they? ?? Anyway, 27 still puts her tied for spot #2, and since Quincy Jones has long since stopped doing anything, (is he dead??) probably in 2 to 3 years Alison will pass him and be knocking on Solti's back door. Wikipedia should have their info straightened out in next day or two. They obviously just updated it earlier tonight.

Allie, I can't CBS, was Sophie right and this was not on the public broadcast? If so where did you get it, the Grammys website?

LOL you're kidding about Wikipedia, right? That can be edited by anyone. They're notorious for getting facts wrong.
And yes, this was not on the public broadcast. It was aired on the internet during the pre-telecast.
Also, no, Quincy Jones is not dead.

So Alison wore the "Yess Dress" by Elise Peters to the Grammys...and to the MusiCares event two nights before.
One in black and one in white. She wore the same dress two nights in a row to two different Grammy events, you guys (and got away with it). That is so badass. Favorite person ever.
