Jamey Johnson is finishing up a duets tribute album to Hank Cochran. Duet partners will include ALISON KRAUSS, Ray Price, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello, George Strait, Vince Gill and Merle Haggard. No release date has been set yet.

P.S. Could this be yet another Grammy award winning collaboration for Alison?  Lol, isn't every collaboration of hers an automatic award contender? Tim Schmit of the Eagles wanted to do something with Alison a couple years ago, I hope it still happens! from december 2009 "As Schmit made it a point to work with people live and in the flesh, both Yoakam and Rock came to his studio. "I didn't do any file-sharing through the ethers," he says. That meant he had to give up on some collaborations he really wanted, including Grammy queen Alison Krauss. "I've always loved her voice, like most people do," he says. "She wanted to do it. It was just a matter of she was doing the Robert Plant thing, and when she had a little window I was out on the road with the Eagles. It just didn't work out, so maybe on the next one." |

Hey nascarholly, is James Otto really your favorite male singer? We never had a clue!!! Uh.....yeah.....I think so!  I love him SO much and I pray that his sexy HOT voice is back on the radio soon because hearing others sing what is written by him, to me, is NOT enough!!! God bless you and him and the Zac Brown Band always!!! Holly P.S. I mentioned the Zac Brown Band because their newest song on the radio named "No Hurry" was co-written by James. |
