According to what I read at another forum that I go to, the following submission was made for a Grammy award nomination.
Alison Krauss The Light Of Christmas Day – ROY, (Song/VM)
The nominations will be announced on December 6th and the awards themselves will be handed out on February 12th.
This song is another collaboration with Robert Plant and it was done for a film last year named Love The Coopers.
God bless you and Robert and Alison always!!!

I just now heard it said on the Entertainment Tonight show that if that Beyonce girl gets every Grammy that she is nominated for this Sunday night, she will then have more than Alison. It was said that she currently has 20 awards and is nominated for nine more. Should we be worried?
God bless you and Alison always!!!

P.S. To me, the show a year from now can not get here fast enough because that is when Alison will then have the ability to take back what is stolen from her if it is stolen from her this weekend.

It means the Grammys aren't what they used to be, lol!! But seriously, the timing of the release of Windy City, 5 days AFTER the grammys, has got to be on purpose. this gives the album a full year to be considered before the 2017 nominations come around. if Alison doesn't win at least two grammys and her producer buddy cannon another one, I will eat my shoe.

^^^ Sadly if that Beyonce girl does ever take the lead, it will be due to the fact that she makes it in there for so many different Grammy awards. The following are her nominations for tomorrow night's show.
Album of the Year Best Urban Contemporary Album Best Music Film Record of the Year Song of the Year Best Music Video Best Rock Performance Best Pop Solo Performance Best Rap/Sung Performance
Nine nominations for that girl during one show alone when the most that Alison has had during one show alone is five which she did in both 2002 and 2009, but in 2002 she only got three of the five. How many can she be nominated for where her new album is concerned? Hopefully her contribution to the Don Williams tribute album will also be submitted.
God bless you and Alison always!!!
Holly
P.S. I wonder if she will be involved with any other various artist compilations this year.

^^^ I wouldn't say that I was worried. I was just wondering because sadly Alison does have the ability to lose this lead that she has had for the reasons that I point out in my previous message. That Adele lady now has 15 after getting every one that she was nominated on Sunday which was five. It was pointed out at another forum that I go to that Beyonce has gotten her 22 Grammy awards within a much smaller time frame compared to how long it has taken Alison to get as many as she has which I believe will be the reason why she could eventually lose her lead. Sadly singers like Beyonce and Adele are so popular that they have to ability to get nominated for so many different Grammy awards. Another thing that gives them the advantage is how much more consistent they seem to be compared to Alison where the act of releasing new music is concerned. Alison's new album is being released six years after her previous one. I don't think that these other singers take that long to get new music out and so that right there is just another threat as long as it continues to exists.
God bless you and Alison always!!!

Well Alison will always be number one in our hearts right, no matter what the grammy people think, anyway I think the Grammies are kind of devalued the last few years, they seem to be all about record units sold and not the quality of the product, would you agree?
