I noticed the same thing! The first couple times i listened to the song it didn't phase me and i wasn't really paying attention to everything she said until today i was listening to it and i noticed her say that and i was like "What's that mean?". I hope it's not true too akusgal. It's an extremely depressing song. Oh well it could mean something totally different and we're just not getting it.

Has anyone read any reviews of the show from NYC? I would think the NY newspapers would have something in them. I'm speaking of the OPRY show.

I took it to mean that was happening in her life right now. If you notice she's been walking the red carpet alone the last couple of times...but oh well, it's not like she's Jessica Simpson and her life is played out on the cover of US weekly. I think she is just the right amount of famous, if that makes sense. She can still have her privacy.

That's what I took it to mean, too, Jason, I just thought it was uncharacteristic of her to talk about it, know what I mean? I also totally agree that she's the perfect level of famous....I've heard of people running into her at Piggly Wiggly lol...and that was recently. You'd never see Jessica there.

I thought she said, "It's goin' on," like right now. Hmmm.....I dunno. My initial thought was that it was a reference to her ex, too, but who knows?

I'm pretty sure she meant it is going on because someone wrote a song about it. If you listen to her interviews (especially on the Live dvd) she talks about liking sad songs because you can tell the songwriter is going through it. That's what I thought anyways.

That does make a lot of sense Monica. However, just with the other words she said and how she said it, it still sounds to me that she was really talking about herself. But I could be completely wrong, that is just what I took from it. But again, what you guys have said makes sense, I am just sayin what I thought it was.
