I saw on AK's official site....  "Alison Krauss and Brad Paisley recently completed a video shoot for their duet "Whiskey Lullaby." The video was shot in and around Nashville with Rick Schroeder directing. Schroeder also plays the lead male character in the video. Watch for the video to be released sometime in late June or early July." |

GAC is currently running a segment on Whiskey Lullaby in its Country Music news segment. Rick Schroeder, who directed the video, said that the song is about two people drinking themselves to death (and not shooting themselves). He also said that the video, as amazing as it sounds, has "a happy ending". The segment shows clips of the video, interviews with Brad, songwriter Bill Anderson, plus Alison making some great "typically Alison" remarks (she looks smashing in a black halter top dress). For anyone with GAC, this segment runs through June 28th so try to catch it -- this one's a keeper!  |

Thanks for the "heads up." Figures, I don't have cable/GAC. Although at a previous residence I hooked up the cable to see if it was active thinking the previous owner had left and service would not be, only to find out I was wrong, and I had GAC for a day or two before I disconnected to remain legal... of course

Wasn't Alison wearing a blue dress on the ACM show when she did the number wtih Brad? I'm trying to recall. Thanks for the "heads up." Figures, I don't have cable/GAC. It may have been red...I can't recall. But I'm sure the one she wore at teh 15th Annual Memorial Day Concert (PBS) was green and white. I think ...

I just looked at my vcr tape again regarding the WL video and it sure looks like a black top with white flowers (?) or some sort of pattern on the black background. Guess we'll have to wait for the video to come out to be sure!  |
