Most probably know of the e-newsletters available from the Official AKUS web site www.alisonkrauss.com/ Has anyone ever ordered from their web site? I've tried a few times and my order always seems to have errors. Has anyone else experienced this in ordering by card(plastic)? I'd prefer ordering directly from AKUS, especially if they retain more percentage in the order, instead of from a record store. I've tried to order the "Live" DVD, and ordered elsewhere (not wanting to wait for a reply to site problems). I'd like the AKUS t-shirt yet, though. I'll have to wait and see if the web staff answer my trouble report.

About a month ago I ordered and received the DVD, a 8x10 picture of Ms. Krauss and the AKUS t-shirt. The shirt has a great design on it.
Hope you can get the problem resolved.

I've not ordered from them, so can't comment on their efficiency. This type of work is usually contracted out, and this seems to be the case here. There's no general "help" page for the merhandising, but there is a form for submitting order queries. They say "this form is handled by our fulfillment center." That form goes to www.sitemason.com (of Nashville), who operate "an e-commerce solution" on behalf of clients. It would thus appear Sitemason handle the electronic ordering, the money and any queries, but whether they also ship the actual goods on behalf of the site, I couldn't say.

You ordered all, or just the DVD and received the photo and t-shirt. Thanks for relating your experiences. I sent a problem report but have yet to receive a reply. I've ordered the DVD and it arrived already, so I won't duplicate the effort, but would like the AKUS (not the New Favorite or the others although in time I might order them) Union Station design. I'll have to send another email, or I could send to the Union Station Land Inc post office box. Thanks About a month ago I ordered and received the DVD, a 8x10 picture of Ms. Krauss and the AKUS t-shirt. The shirt has a great design on it. Hope you can get the problem resolved.

I'll continue to try via web, and if nothing else, via usps mail, they give a p o box number (Union Station Land, Inc). I'll wait for the response for a few days, and if there is no reply, I'll retry the order, and still if nothing, I will then try mail. I've ordered from many merchants aand organizations with no problem. The cmpany probably provides services for many, so I don't think it is an AKUS customer service problem. Thanks I've ordered and received the akus t-shirt without any difficulty. Hope you can staighten out your problem soon.

I ordered and received all three items, the DVD, picture and T-shirt. Seems like I received everything within 10 days at the most.
There was even a "form" thank you note enclosed with the merchandise. That was something I had never received before when I ordered something online. I would assume it is indicative of Ms. Krauss’s demeanor.
The picture is framed, maybe someday I’ll get lucky and can get it signed. The T shirt gets worn occasionally, don’t want to wear it out. The DVD, well, can those be worn out? I’m working on it.

I figured the marketing company is careful also, but I would think that Ms. Krauss would be more likely to think of the "thank you" note than the company.
My thoughts exactly. I thought about MAYBE wearing the AKUS/Union Station t-shirt. The CD's and DVD's can be replaced.
I had 2/3rd's of my music collection stolen years ago. It was stored at a previous employer while I had permission as former employer, and I had a friend where I was living go to my former employer. I think before he picked up my property and stored it, someone got to it. He passed away (young - relatively 43 year old a few years ago) and his daughter contacted me, and I have some of it. My Mark O'Connor and some other artists CD's were still there, but I had 4 or 5 AKUS CD's - all gone. So I will be replacing the CD's as I can afford to. I bought one or two cassettes, but really prefer the CD.
I may try the t-shirt order again, shortly.

Thanks, Kimberly, I refuse to "give up." I'm sure something can be worked out. It might be that I have a firewall on my broadband connection or something that caused the errors on the web site order form. If nothing else, I'll write to the post office box address and see if they would take a check. I ordered the black AKUS shirt before Christmas, and it arrived promptly. I hope you get it straightened out!

I forgot to mention, AKUS support staff did reply to the three emails requesting support. So I will hopefully be receiving my AKUS t-shirt within 4 weeks.
The first email support request went quite awhile or was missed. On June 17 they replied and I sent in a check which they accept. They were not clear on whether it was an actual problem with my account/crd-card or their web site.
By looking, (and I think others mentioned this) it appears SiteMason and Kricos might both be subsidiaries of the same company, and they appear to provide many web site for entertainers in the Nashville area. I'll have to check when I have time to see just how many sites they have to their credit.
Thanks to all members replying here for their wish for resolution of my problem with ordering, it has been resolved.

Now after receiving it, I'm afraid to wear it and/o wash it.
Maybe in the future I'll buy one of the "New Favorite" t-shirts and won't worry about wearing it out.
