Well, if you go on the CMT board for Alison, you already know this, but what do y'all think about having a meeting, like where we could all meet? I think that would be awesome. How about you?

Nice enough idea, but I think the meeting idea is impractical and may prove awkward for some; some board members are already in touch with each other off-board and I think that if any face-to-face meetings take please it should be at the prerogative of individual board members to meet with other individual board members, by mutual consent and at the discretion of the parties involved. Sound fair enough?

Hi girlies!
I think it does sound fair turbo, but at the same time, I feel that a meeting like at a concert or something is just fine also. And obviously it has to mutual consent or no one would be there. I think some people are taking the meeting in a different perspective.
Cause its not any different than me leaving next month to go to Sally Mountain with a bunch of awesome Ragers Ive never even met, for a whole week to hang out and listen to all the great bands. Especially to hear Rhonda, when Ive only talked to a few of them outside the boards. I think we as board members chose wether we put ourselves in an akward situation, just be talking to people outside the boards. Its true, we watch each others, what they say or post and then decide if we can trust that person.
So to sum it up, we make the decison on who we talk to and what we say. And if folks get together to for what ever reason, both parties will agree or only one person would show up. I just know that, if I dont agree with the way someone does something or says something, Im not gonna chat it up with them. We all have our group of folks we like and thats cool.

akus84-- So you're going to Salley Mt?! That's great!I'll get to see Rhonda and the Ragers twice this summer-- in Gettysburg next week and Wind Gap later next month-- what a treat! A number of Ragers go each year to Gettysburg so I'll see familiar faces and renew friendships, and that is what the music is all about-- bringing people together. I was at a small shin-dig yesterday, and a banjo player was needed. (These are all local bands that jam together on weekends) A young teenage girl volunteered, and did a great job on the banjo. The funny thing about it was ,she was dressed in her "goth" clothing!Very black hair, black clothing with lots of metal. Maybe if I had met her in a different setting, I would have had a different first impression. As it was , we were all different people, together enjoying the music.

Hey Houseghost!
Yeppers! Im going to see Rhonda next month! I leave on the 27th and I come back on the 3rd. How cool is that, a whole week! Its my first time going to a camping festival, so Im still a little nervous.
Lucky you! You get to see them twice and Gettysburg is not too far away! You lucky gal! I tell ya what, those Ragers are too cool! No matter where you go, they are always there to help you out! What a nice group of folks! And if you run into Julia and Susan, tell them Amy from Ca says "Hi"!!
And I think you story was awesome! You are right, no matter how different we all are, there's always BLUEGRASS to bring us together! Whoo hoo! As for the girl, was she a banjo player to begin with? Hmmm, we need more details! ha ha! Thanks!

akus84- This young lady was apparently very musical , and was a bluegrass fan. She fit right in for the set and did a great job. Where would we be if Alison had dressed different and no one had listened? God forbid!!!
