Ok, Alison is my rolemodel and all, and usually i learn from her dicisions, well, i was on youtube and one comment said that she and john waite are getting married, and then on another comment it said that she and robert plant were dating. shoukd i beleive any of this?? i mean, obviously she and john are really good freinds..... i'm just hoping that she finds someone really special, wether it be john or robert or even someone else....

Now I am kinda confused too! How does who she dates actually be a help to you in your life? Unless you mean you will also start dating way older guys?  Forgive my ignorance but wouldn't you be better off following your own heart in matters of the heart, rather than following anybody else's lead? No matter how great an artist they are! |

I thouhgt she and Mark were dating. But I guess not. She comes to church alone lately. But, I saw it on the Gone, Gone Gone, video and the Missing you video.

i dont think Alison would really want me to say anything about Sam, but i now know the answer to my question after a church meeting tonight. Anyway, i wanted to know because she is my rolemodel and i was really hoping that she found someone great. I w wasn't going to break uo with my boyfreind or anything.....

I htink JWOL maybe wrong, because there has been no official announcement on Rounder, and there most likely would be, but if JWOL personally knows John, then it is possible, and if so, congrats to her, but I'm waiting for more press before I believe it.

If you notice, the post has been taken down from the JWOL site. I believe that all of this is all gossip!!! I don't believe that they are engaged. If you didn't already know, Alison is a VERY private person and it's not like her to have stuff like that announced to the public. I don't believe that they are engaged let alone dating. Just let her live her life in private and her music can be her public life!

I agree. I can't believe people actually waste their time making up rumors about celebrities/famous people. Do you not have anything else to do in life? not to mention, some people actually are dumb enough to believe it, like me. lol. but seriously, I feel stupid now because I sent John Waite's myspace a msg asking if it was true and congratulating him. that might be why that post got deleted on JWOL. Now I look like an idiot. Just leave the famous people alone so normal people like me wont get confused!!!!!!!! sheesh! And I'm so mad at myself for actually considering to be true! This should be a lesson to everyone, don't even render it possible until there is a reliable source announcing it. I unfortunately learned the hard way. ok, imma get off my soapbox now. lol |

Don't feel bad, ajg, your heart was in the right place with a friendly congrats . If the worst thing John Waite ever gets accused of is being engaged to Alison Krauss, then I'd say he's got it made in the shade  . I'm not totally convinced one way or the other, to be honest. I wouldn't be surprised either way. Afterall, he's had that pic of the two of them as his default My Space pic for quite some time . All in all, if it *is* a rumor, it's probably one that he doesn't mind to have floating around. And if it's true, then you were among the first to wish the happy couple well! |
