AKUS are one of my favorites, and: The Whites John Anderson The Nashville Bluegrass Band Nickel Creek Dr Ralph Stanley Doc Watson Willie Nelson Asleep At The Wheel Shania Twain (Dixie Chicks until they commented about Bush- and I am not making a political party statement- they shouldn't have said that in another country) Toby Keith, Mark O'Connor Johnny Gimble Willie Nelson Foreigner Survivor Journey George Strait Tim McGraw Faith Hill Classical (too many to list) Celtic (at times) Chicago / Peter Cetera I could go on...but this is way too long -- already Western/Texas swing Alan Jackson Some blues, jazz, many rock groups I can't think of at the moment...etc

Way toooooooooo many to list too! I think AKUS is a given! But other than that just to name a few: the newest edition to the Belle CD case--Dale Ann Bradley (awesome!), Rhonda Vincent, THE Dr. Ralph Stanley, the Louvin Brothers, the Osbourne Brothers, the Del McCoury Band, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Journey (sorry, I grew up in the late 70s and 80s-gotta love those decades), a little AC/DC and Lynard Skynard every now and again, Tim McGraw, Green Day, George Jones, Johnny Cash, Pink, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Cher, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Mandy Barnett, Patsy Cline, Sheryl Crow...let's just narrow it down, all the female greats! I could go on and on, but I'll torture you all no more with my love of music and my only escape from the reality that is!
My not so inspiring thought for the day... Rock and Country do Rock.....but AKUS and Bluegrass Rule!
;D Jen

Apart from AKUS of course I love Andrew Peterson - he's a Christian singer, music is kinda folksy/acoustic/lyrical. Kinda hard to describe, but he's great!! His songs are like stories but always bring across the Christian meaning. Check his music out at - www.andrew-peterson.com
