...Speaking of the Cox Family I didn't realize Sidney Cox wrote "Longest Highway" and three other songs on "I've Got That Old Feeling". Longest Highway is one of my all-time favorite songs.
I also didn't realize that both Suzanne and Sidney wrote "Broadway".
Amazing what you'll find out with a little research and helpful friends. ;D

Natalie, Natalie, My dear Natalie! I'm so impressed with what you have done here, I'm having so much fun bouncing around this site. ONLY YOU could do them justice! I'm going to write the Cox Family Fan Club and suggest a site! Not that my meager request will do much, but hell, you only live once.

Natalie! Those internet names for the Cox family I don't think have anything to do with ''our'' Cox Family. I've been watching these sites for over a year and when you enter some of them, it's pictures of a family from NC I think. So, you still have my vote.

Thanks, that is a great picture of all three...I have the segment of that show where they sang 4 or 5 songs together...too bad that the three of them didn't make a gospel album...I would have been so happy...I really had never heard Alison sing an old type of gospel standard until I saw that video...so when she sang that old standard..."Softly and Tenderly"...I was just amazed.I told someone..of all the times that I've heard that song ...I've never heard it sound so beautiful.....I know, people say things like that all of the time, but when you actually experience the magic that her voice brings to a song....it's something that you can't forget..
