Hi, I want to talk about the movie "Country Strong" which I just saw. I'd love to read other people's opinions of it too!
I think this movie had all the elements of a great movie, except for one. I mean it had great actors, pretty good music, great scenery (my town!!) but in my opinion they could have done a lot better with the SCRIPT. I think the plot, the story line, stunk like dead fish in the sun.
Gwyneth did a pretty good job playing a seasoned, if not especially gifted, entertainer; Tim McGraw was just, well, Tim McGraw. My mom liked his coat!!
But the lead characters' morals were really shameful, even nowadays people generally are not that messed up morally, and even though this pic was rated PG-13 I would never take a kid to see it!!
Okay, now I let off my steam, let's hear somebody else!!

Hi Sophie, I just saw it yesterday, and I would have to agree on the part about not taking a kid to see it. It was pretty depressing too. But it was nice to see Nashville briefly, and I did see a couple of friends in the cast, bet you did too Sophie!!! (Steve Hinson and Chris Skruggs). I wouldn't say, "don't go see it", only, maybe wait until it's in the $5 bin at WalMart.
