I must have missed a couple because I definitely didn't see the Office Max pic.. which made me laugh! I wish we knew more about the status of their "relationship". Of course I pick the one artist who keeps her life personal to be my favorite. hehe. jk. I'm just glad seeing Alison smile.

Does anyone know what kind of car Alison was getting into in the pic?

How funny, sometimes he calls her Alison and sometimes Trixie . On the 'public' pictures she's named Alison and on the more 'private' pictures, it's Trixie .

Normally, I don't like to speculate, but... she accompanied him on a trip home to England. At this point, they're totally dating.

That one picture outside the chapel-- she has on the coat she wore for interviews about the Mercury prize. She must have gone over a little early-- and left Sam at home.

Actually I believe she met John after the Mercury Awards, but yes, on the same trip over there. Sam didn't go with her because he wanted to stay home and go to a local fair (he's really growing up!), so he stayed home with her folks (per a British interview, she was missing him terribly and called home A LOT! LOL)

It sounds like things are heating up. John was showing her all his old haunts in his hometown (you can see more pictures at John's MySpace site) and I guess he wanted her to meet his parents...

Actually I "believe" that is pure speculation! ;D

Who knows , maybe she met his parents already during the English part of the tour? And maybe he came and picked her up at the airport and they both went to the mercury? (I think I might have spotted someone with his kind of hairdo at their table!)
Or maybe they took a trip over a year ago? Or maybe his parents came to Nashville!
We have no idea what they are doing in their private life!

Just because there are no pictures of it on JW's site doesn't mean things aren't happening! Jeez!

tal, that is true...but i mean come on...a woman would not spend this much time with one guy unless she is dating him or touring him, and alison isnt touring with john right now...with her busy schedule she just wouldn't go way out of her way to tobe with someone unless she really cared about them...true, it is speculation...but is sure is pointing toward them being a couple. and what's funny though is that even though she is very private, robert says she spends a lot of the time chatting and gossiping...lol.

Personally I have no doubt they are in a relationship! Not just "dating".

I was referring to the statement of someone talking about how "they met up after the Mercury"! There are no facts to suggest as to at what point they "met up" in England so that is pure personal "belief" as the poster says.
What we know for sure is that they were traveling together for some time in England and that they went to his parents and to visit a friend of his. These are fact!
My point was that how many times they did that before or not and whether she met his parents before, we don't really know unless they tell us. So to suggest anything about or from that is pure speculation.

I feel it is one thing to speculate from fact but it is another to speculate from conclusions an individual drew from those facts. To treat those conclusions as "facts"!
I was attempting to point out that difference as I felt the lines were getting blurry here!

Like I said, personally I drew the conclusion from the facts at hand, that they are in a relationship but I don't intend to enter into any discussion thinking that is a "fact" as long as I have not heard either one say this!

And btw I think Robert maybe says stuff for fun( he seems to love a good line/words) and to mess with journalists sometimes! And beside that, seems to me perfectly logical to be private towards "the world" but chatty with your friends. Most people are!
And it does sound like she is a chatty person. Actually you can hear one of the Cox sisters make a joke to that effect in "Down from the mountain".

Tal, if you were referring to my post, my statements were based on facts.

I don't want to get into an arguement with you, but if you read John's blog and his myspace comments and also follow the whereabout of Alison as reported in the news, you would know that while Alison was in London with Robert being interviewed and preparing for the Mercury awards, John was taking pictures of his trip to and arrival in his hometown in England. John traveled to his hometown from a gig in one part of the U.S. a couple of days before Alison and Robert traveled to London from their tour on the other side of the U.S. And, as I said in my post, "I guess[ed]" that she was meeting his parents because there was no mention of it any time before in John's blog (and he's been pretty good in keeping his fans current with what is going on in his life).

Sometimes I think you argue with people just to argue...
