Yippee! Per Billboard Magazine: "Alison Krauss + Union Station are in Nashville working on new studio album for a November release via Rounder. ;D The as-yet-untitled set will be the band's first since 2002's "Live," which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Bluegrass Albums chart, and its first studio effort since 2001's "New Favorite," which hit No. 2 on the same tally. Krauss remains in the spotlight thanks to her guest spot on Brad Paisley's single "Whiskey Lullaby," which climbs 4-3 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart this week. She and guitarist Dan Tyminski have also signed on to host the International Bluegrass Music Association Awards, which will be held Oct. 7 in Louisville." HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN! ;D

***TITLE FOR NEW ALBUM*** The new cd to be released on Nov 23rd is called "Lonely Runs Both Ways". It has a song on it called 'My Poor Old Heart' written by Donna Hughes, an up and coming artist from Ashville that was recently signed to Rounder Records. Hughes was disccovered by AKUS while they were traveling through the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina and heard one of Hughes' songs on a local station. Good to know for all you songwriters out there!

From Donna Hughes website, here are the lyrics to "My Poor Old Heart:"
20. Poor Old Heart Written by: Donna Hughes, Flying Hound Publishing, BMI Donna Hughes: Lead Vocal Guitar: Kevin Richardson Fiddle: Greg Luck Bass: Zak McLamb Harmony Vocals: Gena Britt, Greg Luck
Don't expect too much from my poor old heart You can blame the unforgiven for my scars You might just be the best that I can find But I can't seem..... To forget the tears I've cried Chorus: I don't know that I will ever love again It's the price that I must pay for all my sins Time has changed me & left me full of doubt & my heart may be lost, never to be found Once upon a time I did believe In my true love that swept me off my feet Then the winds of change swept him away And left me drowning..... In my pain Chorus
