Good news for those of us who are near San Francisco!...Jerry Douglas, Viktor Krauss, and Omar Hakim just signed on to "The Hardly, Strictly Bluegrass Festival" October 1-3. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this festival let me tell you this up front... the 3 day festival is FREE!!...Go to www.strictlybluegrass.com if you would like to read more info including the incredible line-up (so far). I have been to a number of the festivals there in Golden Gate Park and it has consistantly been outstanding. You just can't believe Mr. Hellman foots the bill every year for 10 years now!...What a guy!! I may not get to see AKUS this year, but I can deal with Jerry and big brother Viktor in the meantime! If anyone out there is interested in going but would like to know more first hand information before committing please feel free to pick my head for more details. I don't mind...
