Heard this by accident tonight on the radio --- "Draw Me A Map" on Dierks Bentley's June album, "Up On the Ridge". It had some great fiddle playing on it and then I heard this faint vocal in the background and thought it sounded like Alison. Low and behold after the song, the announcer says that Alison Krauss is backing up Dierks on that one with her fiddle and voice. Its a good song and worth searching out.

Hi Doug You are right it is a good song. I downloaded this album and it's pretty good, the band are the stellar musicians from the Del McCoury band. I think I also hear AK on the title track but I cannot be sure as I don't have the album notes but it sure sounded like her. Can anyone tell me for sure? Take Care

Eveibm You are correct. That IS her on the title track. Personally I liked "Draw me a map" somewhat but in general...no love here for Bentley's album. No love at all. ;D

Now if we all agreed the world would be a pretty boring place ;D. Personally Draw me a Map and Rovin Gambler feat. the Punch Bros are the stand outs and IMO as I said before the musicianship is class you cannot really go wrong with the bluegrassers.

Eveibm. Oh I have no argument regarding the musicianship of the band, certainly I have the highest regards for the Dell McCoury band. Nor would I ever argue the standard of musicianship amongst bluegrassers. I just don't like the tunes nor am I impressed with Bentley's voice

Well two things I can say positive about Dierks Bentley, first, he loves Alison and her music, and second, he loves his dog! How can either of those things be bad???
