I just found this message board. I hope it hasn't been abandoned. I'm a longtime Alison Krauss fan and it’s great to find others who recognize her greatness. If there is anybody still posting here I look forward to chatting with ya'll

Hi there, akusluv! (Great avatar photo!) Welcome to the board. We're kind of kicked back right now, as Alison and the boys are not doing anything much right now, but we expect to have a lively conversation going in a few months!! I've been trying to get this board to show up on a Google search, but so far no luck. Any ideas, anybody?

From reading this Board for a few days I know that you will all
see me as a pitiful creature because I first heard Alison Krauss and Union Station last month when my boyfriend moved out and left
a pile of CDs behind the sofa. I played Lonely Runs Both Ways in my car and had to pull over and listen to every track twice.
Now I am going through itunes downloading everything I can afford.
Is there something that I definitely should not miss?

Definitely get the Live CD. It gives a great overview of their work prior to 2002. And of course Paper Airplane is the newest album.
I love to hear about LRBW affecting other people the same way it affected (and still affects) me. It was my first AKUS album and it's still my favorite album of theirs.
