I should delete my post upthread. Not going to the Chautauqua, NY show after all. It's sold-out and my aunt hadn't bought the the tickets, thinking she'd be able to get some when the show's in 16 days. It's a 5,000-seat venue, of course it's going to sell out. I'm feeling pretty crushed because my dream's not coming true after all and I was so excited. Enjoy/hope you enjoyed the shows for me, guys. Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry That's horrible! That's interesting that a 5000 person venue sold out, I saw her at the Greek in Los Angeles, which, according to Wikipedia, seats 5700 and there were definitely empty seats there.

ETA: Allie, you should skip out behind your mom's back and fly out here to see Alison again with yet another friend you met on the internet! =D I'll spend the last of my money on a balcony ticket for the first Knoxville show so we can sit together if you will! XD Hahah oh how far we've come since this post. Looks like three of us from this board will be going to Knoxville! Me included. Flying halfway across the country to meet up with two girls I've never met in person before and going to see AKUS...without telling my mom. (I didn't tell my mom about the last AKUS concert I went to, either.)

It's going to be freaking amazing. I'm just trying to figure out when I'll actually sleep.
Wait. Who needs sleep? I'm nineteen. I just need caffeine!

Hey Tolliver, three whole hours away??? Awwwww. I drove 7 hours in my old beater car and had a flat and used 2 quarts of oil to see the concert in Bend. And in 2008 I drove 2400 miles to Chattanooga. And I am far from being a rich guy!! Real AKUS fans get tough quick!

According to what I found here, tickets for both Knoxville shows have sold out already, so I guess that I won't be at one of them shows either.
God bless you and AKUS always!!!

It may be slightly more expensive, but there's always something available on a ticket broker or eBay, or craigslist if you're local. I just bought tickets a week and a half ago and I believed it averaged about $160 for one ticket, but I'm close (row E the first night, row G the second).

Just returned home (CA) from the AKUS concert in Nashville. The show and the city were worth the trip. AKUS was "on"--the band was energetic, Alison and Dan were in especially fine voice, there were family and friends in the audience and it was over too soon. I regret, now, not going to both shows like some Board members.
