Does anyone have the setlist from the Cleveland show? It was my first Union Station show. Thanks!

Does anyone know of any particular reason that the MerleFest appearance isn't listed on the official AKUS website? It's definitely on MerleFest. It would pretty much kill me to get all the way down to NC and not find them there. PS - Hi, I'm new, longtime lurker. ;D

Because the people who run AKUS' website suck at doing their job with updating. It's listed on Jerry Douglas' website, don't worry. And welcome.

This is kind of a lame question, but I was trying to buy tickets to the Charlotte show on our stone-age computers at work, and I got overly excited and overlooked the fact that the stage "left" was actually referring to the right section if you're facing the stage. So now I have these great seats, but they're not on Alison's side. It won't be too much of a problem, right? I'll still be able to see her rather than have her being eclipsed from that angle by the others? Not that I don't love me some Dan, but hey... it's Alison, and I've never gotten to be this close before.

Depends on how close and how far to the right you are. Alison's center-left, so it's pretty hard to find a spot where you won't be able to see her at all. If, say, you were first row but all the way against the wall on the right, you might have Dan's and Ron's microphones between you and her. On the other hand, the first few rows at a theatre usually don't go all the way to the wall anyway.
But are you sure your ticket says "stage left" and not just "left?" Tickets are usually labeled with house directions, not stage directions.

I don't think the seats will be too hideous, then. They're fourth row, and my seat is about two seats to the right of where the center section first begins (so toward the left side of the right-side section). Our stone age computers at work didn't have the proper plug-in or whatever to view the ticket site the better way, so I didn't have the seating chart right at hand when I picked them. Anyway, thanks for the input.

Oh yeah, you'll be fine. You'll have a good view of everybody, don't worry. =) You'll have a great time.
I might try to make it to the Charlotte show myself, actually. Maybe when it gets closer.

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone here is going to Floyd Fest in Virginia on the 29th of July? I'm thinking of going, but haven't purchased a ticket yet. I'll be in Charlotte for that show, and have until Monday to get home to Cleveland, so... kind of works out perfectly.
Sadly I've never been to a festival before. I guess the odds aren't great of getting a spot close enough to see much, but I still really want to see AKUS in a festival environment.
I also really wish I could meet Alison... I've got this thing I want to give her, and I'm a pretty good (and respectful!) "stage door" stalker, but I don't know if either of these venues (outdoor ampitheatre in Charlotte and crazy festival in VA) will provide the best opportunity.
Anyway, if anyone is going to Floyd, message me. Maybe we could try and collaborate to get a great spot at the AKUS stage. (I think Ricky Skaggs is playing on the same one earlier in the afternoon.)
