AKUS at the Olympics?

I can't seem to find a confirmation of these performances but it appears (?) that AKUS will be performing in the UK in conjunction with the Olympics. However, the dates in the Liverpool Echo must be wrong because AKUS is in Baltimore on April 14 with a full schedule around that date and the Olympics are not until July/August.

I wonder if they will also be participating in some of the sporting events.

My first thought is: that means it will probably be broadcast. Excellent.

My second thought is: now if we can just get David Tennant to light the torch, this will be the best Olympics ever.

AKUS will be performing in London's Hyde Park on Sunday, July 15 as part of the musical festivities surrounding the Olympics.

Along with multiple July performances in Germany, Belgium, Sweden, ....I think it is time for a new UpClose On the Road Behind the Scenes On the Continent At the Vatican DVD.

Just to add to that, there's a Helsinki, Finland date as well in July.
