Awesome, I guess old Bob Plant will have to do some more waiting... Hope they include "No More Lonely Nights" and I can finally get to hear this lauded cover!

I didn't know how much I wanted them to add NMLN to this album until you said it, and now I'll be disappointed if it's not on there lol. I've spent hours upon hours scouring every corner of the internet for AKUS' version of that song (other than the 23-second snippet on YouTube) but have come up empty-handed every single time and it's depressing! I need this in my life now.

I need this in my life now. Indeed. What to do... I don't know how to nudge them about this, perhaps a mass tweeting to whoever runs her twitter account to please put this on their next album, at least as a bonus track! Saw what Paul McCartney said about AKUS' version, from revved magazine: Paul himself reportedly dug all the performances from his front row table where he sat with wife Nancy, and was heard to comment after the show that he liked Alison Krauss’s arrangement of “No More Lonely Nights” so much that he might use it in his own future shows!

Probably mid-summer, if Alison doesn't get any more migraines!! Hold a good thought for her.

I talked to Ron early this month. He confirmed that it looks like they're gonna get to work on the new album early next year, and he doesn't think the new one will take as long to put together as Paper Airplane did.

^^^ I hope that another Christian song written by him is on the next album. To me, that was the only downside to Paper Airplane, that a song about the Lord was not on it. I wish that Alison singing "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow" could have been a part of that album. God bless you and AKUS always!!! Holly

I would also like to know when they would start their Tours. I'm going to assume that it would be after the album is finished.

Hey nascarholly, As I sit here typing, I am listening at the same time to track #4 from Paper Airplane, "Lay My Burden Down". While the song doesn't mention the Lord by name, it seems to me it talks about the summit of Christianity's hope and purpose, which is namely, eternal life after death in Heaven. Check out these lines: at 2:38: "When I sleep the angels sing, but I cannot hear a thing, eyes closed, dreamin' of the better days gone by" - the Bible says in Christ's own words, that the dead cannot hear, know, or participate in the world of the living while they are in the grave, BUT...... At 3:00: "When I wake the trumpets play, and I'm standing at the gate, fall down in joy, I know my race has just been won....." this is clearly referring to the resurrection of the dead at Christ's second coming, and of the victory of eternal life over death, but as any Bible-reader knows this is only possible through redemption in Christ. On almost every album Alison has included a song of praise to God, even if somewhat veiled like LMBD. Anybody remember "Your Long Journey" from Raising Sand? Or how about "Away Down The River" from A Hundred Miles Or More? And by the way, it ticks me off that all the reviewers and the press, and even some of our dear fellow posters on this board, seem to forget that one, AHMOM. That definitely counted, in my opinion, as a legitimate AKUS album, even though it only had 5 new songs on it, and regrettably 2 of them were duets with that skanky limey jerk whose name we shall not mention here, but who did manage to break Alison's tender heart and cause her months of migraine headaches. And if AHMOM doesn't count, then neither does Alison's 1995 collection "Now That I've Found You", since only some of the songs on that were new at the time, most were gathered from other work she had done with other artists. Re-reading my post, I realize that just like last time I dared to raise the subject of Christianity and its principles within this forum, I risk getting my butt chewed by some of the posters on this board. But I guess I'm going to be a Christian without fear, just like Christ says we should be, and post it anyway. And anyway, Alison has made it very plain in various interviews and in her life, that she loves the Lord and is a Christian and is not ashamed to say so publicly. God bless her. And God bless you all who read this!!
