the song is identified here as an acoustic duet titled "The Snow Goose" and belongs to a next release of an album titled "Electric" by Richard Thompson and produced by Buddy Miller thinking that Alison would contribute vocals to some song for a Robert Plant album is a strange idea regarding the aftermath-tribulations of "Raising Sand" ... including possibly those serious headaches that have grown in the process of rejoining Union Station after all those years of separation ... and anyway - as was pointed out - there is no decision yet to turn the recent Plant / Miller recordings into a proper release ... as Plant has several other options: apparently material for a second "Band Of Joy" release is already recorded (but not scheduled for a release) and currently Plant has chosen to work again with his band from the days before "Raising Sand" using this time the moniker "Sensational Space Shifters" ( no longer including Patty Griffin in a kind of guest role) ... "The Snow Goose" belonging to Richard Thompson and Alison on the other hand will arrive in 2013 ...

After reading the Rolling Stone article very carefully, I have to agree with MondayTuesday, there is no mention of Alison and Robert working together again. It says Alison will do a song on Thompson's album, which we already knew. Sorry, philly!!
