Just another one of those polls, obviously skewed to current-day stars, but you can vote without registering. Currently, Alison is #18. Never heard of the #1 singer, she must have a very active fan club, lol. Philly, when you posted this Alison was at #16 on the list, but as of 4:29pm Central on January 1st, right now she is tied with Katy Perry at 11% but still listed as #3. Let's get her at least in the #2 spot!! And I checked out Jackie Evancho, very nice for such a young girl, inarguably talented, but just hasn't got that heart-melting quality to her singing or her musical choices, like Alison does. I'm sure she will be very big on the New York Broadway circuit, but that's a completely different world, and anyway even if she and Alison sang the same stuff I would still be moved to tears by Alison a long time before I would be by Jackie. Sorry, Miss Evancho.

Whoa, I just saw her new ranking, I had no idea. Must be a lot of lurkers (or ballot stuffers, LOL) here. I had previously posted on the Linda Ronstadt proboard and that jumped her up a few notches but am pleasantly surprised to see Alison jump up so high so quickly! Great job folks! Never heard of Ms Evancho but she's got a dedicated fan base (or fan, lol)

Jackie Evancho is only about 15 and already does the Broadway, NY operetta style of singing, with the big symphony orchestras etc., and she is actually pretty darn good. Completely different kind of music though. And not near as good-lookin' as Alison and I bet she can't play a fiddle either!!!

I can't believe that Miley Cyrus was even considered for the list let alone her being on it. No she isn't the worst, but to me, she'd be so far down the list that you would never get to her.

Holly, I agree with you re Slimey er I mean Miley but ALISON ONLY HAS 5 POINTS TO GO TO TIE WITH JACKIE EVANCHO, 6 POINTS TO THE #1 SPOT!!!
