from the Knoxville News Sentinel----------------------------------------------------------- Krauss sings Jackson's praises By WAYNE BLEDSOE, bledsoe@Knews.com May 11, 2007 "Alison Krauss has nothing but praise for singer Alan Jackson, for whom she produced his album " Like Red on a Rose." "He originally wanted to make a bluegrass record, but what I really felt strongly about was something different," she says. "I've never gotten to pick tunes and arrange songs for a low, beautiful country singer like that. And he's really the best of his generation. He is such a naturally gifted singer. He sings things different every time, and you don't know what to pick because they are all equally beautiful. It made me look at my own singing, and it made me want to focus on it rather than focusing on these other things." --------------------------------------- It's nice to see someone so gifted and successful as Alison speak so highly about another artist. Personally, I think she's a class act all the way!!!
