08/26/2005: "McBride, Krauss providing music for Bambi II "
According to Variety [paid registration required], music for the upcoming Bambi sequel will be provided by country artists Martina McBride and Alison Krauss. Furthermore, the sequel, once titled Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest, is now being referred to as simply Bambi II by a number of sites, including Moviehole and the Internet Movie Database, the latter of which noting the sequel's earlier name to be only a working title. Bambi II will be released directly to DVD on February 7, 2006.
