This is from her official site, but it does say a partial listing. I would like to know what is not in there, so that I can go and look for it. Does anyone here know of any other songs that she is a part of that were not included here? Other Recordings of note (partial listing) * "Whiskey Lullaby" with Brad Paisley from Mud On The Tires (Arista Records) (2004) * "Whispering Pines" and "The One Who Knows" with Dar Williams from The Beauty of the Rain (Razor & Tie) (2003) * "A Gathering Of Spirits" with Carrie Newcomer from A Gathering of Spirits (Rounder) (2002) * "The Little Girl" with John Michael Montgomery from Brand New Me (Atlantic) (2000) * "Buy Me A Rose" with Kenny Rogers from She Rides Wild Horses (Dreamcatcher) (1999) * "Pretty Little Miss In the Garden" with Ralph Stanley from Clinch Mountain Country (Rebel) (1998) * "Half A Mind" with Tommy Shaw from 7 Deadly Zens (CMC International) (1998) * "Whenever I Call You Friend" with Michael Johnson from Then & Now (Intersound) (1997) * "Part of Heaven" with Gary Chapman from This Gift (Reunion Records) (1997) * "High Lonesome Sound" with Vince Gill from High Lonesome Sound (MCA) (1996) * "Somewhere In the Vicinity of the Heart" with Shenandoah from In the Vicinity of the Heart (Capitol Records) (1995) * "If I Could" with Phish from Hoist (Elektra Records) (1994) * "The Angels Cried" with Alan Jackson from Honky Tonk Christmas (Arista) (1993) God bless you and Alison always!!!

Hi, Miss Nascarholly, I was thinking of a song that she did on a Polka album...she did Dream Lover...she played on an instrumental song that was on a tribute type album...had something to do with a Train...I"ll have to look that one up.....she did a duet ...Undying Love..think it was with Mike Auldridge...there are quite a few to list..so I will make up a list of what I have and can remember and post it when I have a little more time..I wonder if maybe she holds the record for being on the biggest number of albums...there's just too many to keep in my head..and since my head has a hole in it...things fall out...Ha Ha ....

Mandy - I have everything listed on AKUS' site under "Soundtracks/Compilations" and "Other Recordings of Note", but have not heard recordings of anything from a Polka album, or "Dream Lover", or Undying Love. If you can post more details so that it can be found on I-tunes, would greatly appreciate!!
The "train" song you refer to was "Same Old Train" which was a multi-artist recording with Clint Black, Pam Tillis, Randy Travis, Marty Stuart, Alison on fiddle only, no vocals, Emmylou Harris, Merle Haggard, Travis Tritt, Ricky Skaggs, Earl Scruggs, Dwight Yoakam, and Jerry Douglas. Must've been a crowded studio!!

Sometimes I get confused ...she's done soo many...and that's a good thing for all of us fans.....Dream Lover is on a release from Jimmy Sturr.called RockN Polka...2004 Rounder.....Undying Love is from a cd True Love...The Desert Rose Band..Curb/MCA...maybe you know about this one..but the song Any Old Time...akus also did on a Jimmie Rodgers Tribute album...I really love that..Alison also did one on a Benny Martin cd Another World Ago...it's very pretty....hope I answered what you wanted to know..if not..let me know...also I just have to say..Our Lady of the Violin has brought back to life some very classic memories for me...I mean Jimmie Rodgers was someone that my grandpa was very familiar with..isn't that something. oh.well to me it is..then she produces albums by the Cox Family that take me back to feeling like 5 years old and watching the great oldtime gospel groups....she's an amazing gift to so many many people..

The complete list is about the size of the Nashville phone book! Netscape used to keep a complete list but, when AOL took that site over, the list was gone. You guys are just touching the tip of the Krauss iceberg...

My focus right now is getting Alison's movie soundtrack and tribute album songs, which I think that I now have them all, so I am now trying to get her full fledge duets with other artists where we can hear her sing by herself. So far, I have the ones with Brad Paisley, Shenandoah, Alan Jackson, Michael Johnson, Gary Chapman, Tommy Shaw, and "When You Say Nothing At All" with Keith Whitley. If I am missing any others, tell me what to look for next! God bless you and our girl always!!!

To Mandy and Nascarholly: Per Mandy's suggestions, I was able to download from Itunes, both Dream Lover from the Jimmy Sturr CD, and also Undying Love from the Desert Rose Band CD (had to pay for the whole CD!!!) but Itunes has no reference for any Benny Martin. Mandy, do you have any more details on that, like who is Benny Martin, what is the name of the song? Does Alison sing or just play fiddle on that song??
Nascarholly, you say you now have a lot of her stuff, any clue about Benny Martin?? Please look up my email address in my profile, and email me with a list of what you've got - I have a long list too and maybe we can trade!!!

Never mind re the Benny Martin song, I finally found it on Itunes as soon as I figured out that "Another World Ago" was the title of the song, not the CD. But re the question for Nascarholly, that stands......

I can't find the songs that Alison does with Jimmy Slur, Benny Martin, and the Desert Rose Band. I remember Mandy mentioning in one of her emails to me that Alison also does a song with Patti Page called "Hope Chest". I can't find it either. Does anyone here have these songs? God bless you and Alison always!!!
