I was wondering if anyone here has ever met and spoke to alison? I ran into her at a store in Nashville and she was nice. She was buying batteries and a water bottle. We were both in the same checkout lane. And the person in front of us was taking forever!

well, i was complaining that i couldn't reach the top rack at the rechester because im kinda short im like 16 and am 4,9..but anyway she was like" dont feel bad, i have troubles sometimes too." i think we were standing there for about 15 minutes. And then we started talking about church and she said she was going o switch churches and i asked her where she was going to go and she said the church that my family goe's to. I sing at our church and if she does come i would be way too nervous to sing.

I'm confused Sarah, I thought you said that you were from Indiana. That would be a heck of a commute for Alison to make each Sunday... ;D ;D ;D

Well I certainly hope everything works out okay with your family sarahbfritz, and do tell us the details if Alison ever shows up at grandpa's church! BTW, when you met Alison did you get the chance to thank her and tell her how much she has influenced you?

I rather doubt it Sarahbfritz. I don't know the distance from Nashville, but AKUS' tour is taking them from Mississippi to Branson, Missouri on Sunday.
Good luck singing...

if alison ever does show up, it would help me feel a lot better. im going to stay in nashville permanently now and i hope that if i continue to go to church she shows up. I gave up on my parents, and i decided i want to be a bluegrass singer, i want to ask alison a few questions if she has the time......

Anywho...that's pretty cool you got to meet her!! I wish I could have the chance to meet her!! Lucky... :]
