I always have something AKUS at hand to listen to. Some of my other favorites include Alanis Morissette, Gillian Welch, Sheryl Crow, Dixie Chicks, Old Crow Medicine Show, Ryan Adams, Sublime. But most always it's AKUS, because anything else would be uncivilized!

There are so many different people that I love to listen to.. My all time faves are Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss, and Martina Mcbride.. some of the other people I listen to are : Rhonda Vincent, Patty Loveless, Dixie Chicks, Christina Aguilera, Sheryl Crow, George Strait, Travis Tritt, Joe Nichols, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts.. and like a million others..

Other than AKUS, which is my favorite at the moment, I love listening to an eclectic mix of rock & roll, jazz, and any other really good music. I particularly enjoy Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, Annie Lennox, kd Lange, Shania Twain, Stevie Wonder, Linda Ronstadt, Elton John, and last but certainly not least, Alison Krauss.  |

AKUS is my # 1.
Others I enjoy in no particular order:
Jimmy Buffett, Loreena McKennitt, (A voice on par with Alison's, but more in the Celtic/classical realm) Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Phish, the Grateful Dead, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Blue Highway, Brad Paisley, the Dixie Chicks, Martina McBride, Gary Alan and the Dave Mathews Band are among some of the many others I enjoy

I have 2 great obsessions (for lack of a better word!): 1. Alison Krauss 2. Dixie Chicks I also listen to Rhonda Vincent and Nickel Creek. Sierra Hull is really awesome too. I really don't listen to a variety. For me, it's either one of Alison's cds, or the Chicks. I spend a lot of time on two Dixie Chick bulletin boards, which can be found at: www.dixiechicksfans.net and the other is www.dixiechickshenhouse.comSo all of you Dixie Chick fans can visit there too! I also like different kinds of music kind of but I dont like like one specific person/group I just like random songs, lol.

Everything from the obvious (AKUS, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley et al) through other people you can't find in the UK (Sister Hazel & anything off The O.C. mostly) & the classical things we sing in choir to anything my friends suggest (Ani Difranco, Tori Amos, John Mayer, Neil Finn.. )
